Accessibility.

At Three B Gardens, we want our plants, products, and information to be available to as many people as possible. That includes making our website usable for visitors with disabilities.

We are continually working to improve the accessibility and usability of our website and aim to follow widely recognized best practices such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, hearing, cognitive, and motor differences.

Because web technology and accessibility standards continue to evolve, we view this as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time project.

What we’re doing

On an ongoing basis, we aim to:

  • Use clear and consistent page structures and headings so content is easier to navigate.

  • Provide text alternatives (“alt text”) for meaningful images, especially for plants and products.

  • Maintain readable text sizes and sufficient color contrast for important text, links, and buttons.

  • Ensure that links, buttons, and form fields can be reached and activated using a keyboard.

  • Use clear and descriptive link and button labels instead of vague text like “click here.”

  • Limit content that flashes or moves rapidly.

  • Review new content (such as new pages, plant listings, and promotions) for basic accessibility issues before or shortly after it goes live.

From time to time, we also use automated tools to help identify common accessibility issues and then work to address what they find.

Third-party content and platforms

Our website may include links to or content embedded from other platforms, such as Whatnot or social media sites. We don’t control the accessibility of these third-party services, but we choose them carefully and try to provide alternative ways to contact us or access important information whenever possible.

If you have trouble with a third-party platform that we use (for example, placing an order during a live sale), please reach out directly so we can help you another way.

If you experience an accessibility issue

If you have difficulty using any part of this website, or if you find any content that is hard to access with assistive technologies, we’d really like to know so we can help and work to fix it.

You can contact us by:

  • Email: info@threebgardens.com

When you contact us, it’s helpful (but not required) if you can share:

  • The page or feature where you had a problem (for example, “Homepage” or “Soil Mixes page”).

  • What type of device and browser you were using (for example, iPhone with Safari, Windows with Chrome).

  • Any assistive technology you may have been using (for example, a screen reader).

  • A brief description of what didn’t work as expected.

We’ll do our best to:

  1. Respond promptly,

  2. Provide the information or service you need in another way (for example, by email, phone, or message), and

  3. Address the issue on our website to improve the experience for you and others.

Feedback

Accessibility is important to us as a small family-run business, and your feedback helps us improve. If you have suggestions on how we can make Three B Gardens easier to use for everyone, please let us know.
